New Patients at Chiropractic Advantage Center
Your First Visit
When you arrive at our Robinson Township chiropractic office, you will be greeted with a smile in a family-friendly atmosphere. You will check in with Patti at the front desk. She will provide you with paperwork to fill out. Please bring your insurance card and driver’s license, and they will make a copy of both.
The doctor will complete a thorough examination of the muscles, bones, and nerves in your body. This exam consists of orthopedic, neurologic, and chiropractic tests. If necessary, a set of x-rays will be taken. We like to allot about an hour for this first visit in our office.
Your Second Visit
On your second chiropractic visit, we will go over your findings in what we like to call the Report of Findings. At this point, we review your examination, consultation and x-rays and discuss what is going on with you. If we feel that you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, we would adjust you after this point. We like to allot about 30 minutes for your Report of Findings.
Regular Visits
After your initial exam and Report of Findings, you will then visit our office for chiropractic adjustments and therapies. Your typical office visit should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your care plan. It is important to follow your care plan in order to obtain the desired results. We would first adjust your spine to correct any vertebral subluxations and then may even utilize additional therapies like muscle stimulation therapy, decompression therapy, strengthening exercises, heat and ice therapy, and trigger point therapy to reduce muscular tension.
Just like working out at the gym, each visit builds upon the ones before. If you miss a visit, you lose that momentum necessary to make changes. That is why it is important to continue with your visits to improve your overall health!
